Lodge
The Corto Maltes Amazonia lodge has 27 comfortable bungalows built in wood and beautifully finished, distributed in double, double or triple rooms. We also have a module where 4 rooms are distributed, on the first and second floor, which are offered as single or double rooms, with independent bathrooms, double bed, terrace with hammocks and independent entrance.
Bungalow
Each bungalow has a private bathroom, with hot water 24 hours a day and a large terrace with hammocks from where you can enjoy the excellent view of the Madre de Dios River and the jungle that surrounds us, perfect for starting your tours in the Peruvian Amazon. They also have mosquito nets to avoid visits from unwanted insects, battery-powered LED lights on the nightstand and in the bathroom for hours when there is no electricity. Being in the middle of the jungle we have electricity produced by a light generator that is put into operation at established times: from 7 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 10:30 pm. There are body soap dispensers in the shower. As Eco-Lodge in the Peruvian Amazon we have decided not to use single-dose bottles to save on plastic and be more respectful of the environment. Privacy is guaranteed as each bungalow is sufficiently separated from the others. If you carry valuables, each bungalow has its own safe for your peace of mind.
The Lodge kitchen
The Lodge’s kitchen offers continental breakfast, lunches and dinners that fuse local products with international cuisine. Set menus are served that vary depending on the day and program. If you have any dietary requirements, do not hesitate to mention it when making your reservation. If you wish, you can serve yourself coffee or infusions at no cost throughout the day.
Pool
In the middle of the beautiful garden with native trees and tropical flowers, is our swimming pool with terrace-bar where you can enjoy a refreshing swim at any time.
Bar
We have a bar with an atmosphere prepared exclusively to enjoy a typical drink from the region, or a cold drink, accompanied by music, board games and a pool table.
Boutique
So you can bring a souvenir to your family and friends, inside the Corto Maltes Amazonía lodge you will find a magnificent boutique with typical crafts from the jungle and the rest of Peru: clothes, postcards, blowguns, Shipibo embroidery and other souvenirs that will delight shopping fans, in addition to collaborating with the local native producers who supply us. It also has basic necessities and snacks.
We have free WIFI connection in the communal areas: bar, boutique and terrace during the hours when there is electricity. It works normally unless there are power outages in the city or due to meteorological causes such as wind and heavy rain that distort the signal.
Spa
We have a spa where qualified staff offer you a variety of massages ideal for after excursions or simply to relax during your stay. In addition, the spa offers manicure, pedicure and facial cleaning services.
Ayahuasca
The lodge facilities are complemented by a 40m square terrace with views of the river, a Maloca for ayahuasca ceremonies with capacity for 30 people located in the middle of the forest and exclusive accommodation for TCs (Tour Conductors), which offers 2 single rooms with private bathroom.
Any additional requirements such as extra electricity, extra transfer or special attention must be coordinated in advance with the reservations area.
